Jurgen and Wendy Schulz

Jurgen and Wendy have been serving God in Bolivia for the last 30 years.

They have spent 20 years in the city of Potosi  (4,000 meters above sea level) where they helped start a church and a Christian School.

For the past two years they have been living in LaPaz where Jurgen was helping make a Christian film on reconciliation and forgiveness.  Jurgen also teaches at a seminary and travels ministering God’s word in different parts of Bolivia and Argentina.

Wendy is involved in a prison ministry that shares the love of God in the darkness of the Bolivian prisons.

They have five children. Celina, their oldest, is now living in LaPaz and working with the deaf. Jonathan, Caleb and Steven are attending Emmaus Bible College and Elisa is at home.

Prayer Requests:

• For the peace of Bolivia during a time of much political turbulence
  and social upheaval
• God’s provision and blessing on the film
• God’s guidance for their children and help in adapting to North
  American culture
• God’s guidance and protection for those involved in the prison ministry
• For God’s hand on Jurgen as he travels and ministers throughout Bolivia and Argentina
• Jurgen and Wendy as they sense the need to spend more time in Canada in the next few years. Pray for God’s provision as they face the need of setting up a home.
